Life’s adventures

Well, the snow has been coming and going. This afternoon it was coming. Biking to work in deep snow can be challenging, and somewhat stressful. You feel you’re going too slow and know you’ll be rushing in, somewhat sweaty and five minutes late for the morning meeting… But biking home is something quite different.

This afternoon it was just so much plain fun! I couldn’t help but to giggle to myself. Beautiful white snow covered everything. Skidding the back wheel in the slippery snow. Pacing myself a little bit faster and feeling that though I’m maybe a bit out of shape, my body is still working alright.

It’s great to be alive!

After playing in the snow for a couple of hours I wanted a (self-timed) group picture before we went back home. This was not very enticing to the children. Filip just wanted to throw snowballs, and Clara was much more interested in making snow angels…

Welcome to the Malm family blog!

For some time we’ve enjoyed following blogs and family reports from old friends (for example a good life, mina solglimtar, mitt i livet, malms etc.) We realize how important these people are to us, even though busy lives and somtimes long distances keep us from meeting as often as we’d like.

So - we’ve decided to start our own family blog. Just to share what’s happening in our lives and to keep friends and family updated.

This sunday we got dressed for an afternoon walk. I realized we haven’t taken any family pictures after Gustav’s birth, so I brought the tripod along. With the kids in an unusual co-operative mood we put the camera on self-timer and actually managed to get a half-decent photo.

Well, at least I think so, but I know I’m biased…
