Sold!

Our house is sold.

We were astonished as there was quite a bit of intereset. We congratulate the new owners and hope they will enjoy the house and live happy here. We express our deepest gratitude to all friends and family – too many to mention here – that have helped and supported us in the preparation and sale process.

On monday we start renovating our new house in Långedrag…

Summer memories

The blog has not been updated too often this summer, much because time that could have been used in front of the computer has been spent preparing the house for sale. But now that we see the end of the process it’s time for an update. Here are some pictures from cherished summer memories:

House for sale, part 2

Monday was spent preparing for and taking photos of our house in preparation for the advertisement that was published today on the internet. Go check it out – and if you’re interested in moving to the Göteborg area – with a house like this you can’t go wrong :-)

House for sale

Finally we’re seeing the light in the tunnel. Matilda is still working hard on the “home-styling” details, but for myself, yesterdays inspection by Anticimex was the big mile-stone. After working really hard for the past couple of months, we now feel that our beloved house is ready to put up for sale.

Build 1909, with plenty of charm, and carefully renovated during the past five years. Excellent location 5 minutes from Göteborg inner city, but walking distance to nice recreational areas with swimming lakes, castles, jogging tracks in old oak forrests, etc.

I better stop there :-) – I think our real-estate broker will do a better job at selling… Anyway, at request, here are a few pictures. More will come after thie final “home-styling” this weekend… After that we’ll start to advertise on the internet and in the newpapers.

Keeping our fingers crossed for a swift and good deal for all parties involved…

American TV trivia

I had a good laugh from these two youtube clips – the best and worse in american TV trivia. That woman probably missed one or two geography classes, but I have to admit she makes up for it with some good wit and charm.
